About Hartwell Digital Media

Hartwell Digital Media is an award-winning media services company specializing in high-definition video production for businesses and events, serving all of northern Michigan and beyond. Since around the turn of the millennium, founder Richard Hartwell has produced over 5,000 local and regional broadcast television commercials, as well as numerous industrial and promotional videos distributed on DVD and the web. In 2007, Hartwell also served as editor on "Navajo Code Talkers – In Their Own Words", a one hour documentary by filmmaker George Colburn, and more recently, served as cameraman for Colburn's "Young Hemingway" documentary.

As a University of Michigan graduate in Film & Video Studies with additional focus in English, Richard Hartwell is hands-on in all aspects of production. In script development, on-location videotaping, lighting and editing, he helps businesses develop their unique selling points to captivate the viewing public with clean images and a strong message.

When you don't have a $25,000 budget to pay a 5-person crew to make a 30 second ad, but you're willing to spend a little more than the budget offerings of local TV stations, that's where Hartwell Digital Media comes in... helping your business shine above the competition, without breaking your budget. It's the perfect balance between quality and value. Public perception plays a big role in the success of any business or event and once your image is represented on-screen, it's all in the eye of the beholder... so make the right choice.
